Des Moines • Outdoor Vegan & Gluten Free Dinner with Jackfruitful Kitchen | May 15
We're extremely honored to collaborate with Jackie Akerberg for the second time to host an all-vegan and gluten-free dinner! This time, we will be hosting the dinner outside on our beautiful patio. Of course, if weather doesn't allow, we will move the dinner inside to our Crescent Room.
Our menu for this dinner includes:
• Wild Greens: Radish, sunflower, vinaigrette
• Arancini: Spring pea, Calabrian chile, lemon
• Fettuccine: Wild mushroom, kale, spinach, cashew cream, Brazil nut
• Panna Cotta: Blackberry, vanilla, strawberry, dark chocolate, pistachio
With these cocktails accompanying:
• Snap Pea Bloody Verde: Snap pea salsa verde mix, chile-infused gin, lemon
• Rum Runner: cacao-nib-infused rum, blackberry, strawberry, pistachio coconut cream

Jackie is the creator of Jackfruitful Kitchen and the author of the Clean Vegan Cookbook. Our Executive Chef, Sean Towley, and Jackie have curated the menu based on Jackie's recipes with a Big Grove twist. The ticket price includes a delicious welcome cocktail, a complimentary pint of any Big Grove beer, a four-course dinner, and gratuity for our wonderful staff. Any additional drink purchases are welcome.
Doors will open at 5pm for a cocktail hour and mingling. At 6pm, we will get everyone seated for dinner and begin serving. Following dinner, there will be a social hour to purchase The Clean Vegan Cookbook, get it signed, talk with Jackie, and chat about all things vegan.
